It is important to push my own limits, as an artist. I carry around “rules” in my head or self limiting beliefs. This is what I paint, I do this, I don’t do that. One thing I rarely do is use discreet shapes, carefully drawn lines. This is me pushing back against that belief (although I couldn’t resist smudging the line a little).
