It may surprise you to learn that this painting started out as a landscape. It went through many stages and ultimately transformed into something else. I paint intuitively, without a plan ( I guess that’s why I abandoned the landscape idea). I create layers of acrylic paint, paper and scribbly marks or brushstrokes until it strikes a chord and feels “right”.

This painting was made with high quality acrylic paint, acrylic paint marker and found paper ( barely visible beneath layers of paint). It is coated with a layer of UV protective varnish. It is signed on the back, and is stretched and ready to hang unframed.
