Sometimes a painting starts to be one thing and turns out to be another. And sometimes what it feels like to me feeels different to you. This painting began as a purely abstract painting and towards the end began to feel like a still life of a vase of flowers. There was no actual vase of flowers and it was never my intention to create a painting of a vase of flowers. This is still an abstract painting but with a few elements of that imagined still life it has that feeling for me.
